The fillet of ham is off the leg of pork. We cure our own quality ham with our own traditional recipe. Our craft butchers then bone out the leg and neatly hand tie the joint. Because the fillet of ham has the bone removed it is very easy to carve with no waste. Our Ham Bacon is juicy, full of flavour and is ideal for your Christmas dinner or any dinner occasion. Our slow cured technique allows the ham to slowly mature, giving it a more delicate, distinctive flavour. This is a piece of meat that, if you are lucky enough to have any leftover, makes real quality sandwiches.

Shoulder bacon is best when boiled on a medium heat for 2 hours. Try serving it with cabbage and some buttery mash potato, for a real Irish Dish.

Storage Instructions

Your meat will arrive frozen, see pack for shelf life, each cut of meat is labelled with a use by date.

When your meat arrives simply pop it into your freezer.

When you have selected what meat you would like to eat for the day, thaw items by leaving them on the bottom shelf in your fridge on a plate covered overnight before cooking. Once thawed leave to stand for 20 minutes at room temperature before cooking. 

Remember once thawed use within 2 days.
