Brisket of beef is a delicious pot roast which our craft butchers bone and roll, which allows it to be carved more easily with no waste. It is scrumptious when cooked in an oven dish. Basting the meat is essential during cooking.

Long, slow cooking gives brisket rich beef flavour and a tender texture. Flavour Brisket over night with a dry rub or wet marinade. Marinades intensify the flavour; marinate your brisket for a minimum of two hours but ideally overnight. Its fibres break up tastily through slow cooking.

Storage Instructions

Your meat will arrive frozen, see pack for shelf life, each cut of meat is labelled with a use by date.

When your meat arrives simply pop it into your freezer.

When you have selected what meat you would like to eat for the day, thaw items by leaving them on the bottom shelf in your fridge on a plate covered overnight before cooking. Once thawed leave to stand for 20 minutes at room temperature before cooking. 

Remember once thawed use within 2 days.
