Our Roast Leg of Pork, comes with the rind left on. The pork rind is scored by our butchers, this helps to enhance the crackling effect of the skin which is a very tasty accompaniment to any pork roast. Roast Leg of Pork is ideal for roasting in the oven. This cut of pork is absolutely delicious accompanied by apple sauce. Roast Leg of Pork can also be done into pork leg steaklets which can be braised in the oven for a short amount of time or are ideal for BBQing.

Boneless roast leg pork is best covered with a spice rub made from dried chiles, brown sugar, and ginger and roasted in the oven for approx 2 and half hours or follow your recipe guidelines. Initially roasted at a very high temperature to brown the exterior, and then finished at a very low temperature to break down the connective tissues, maximize juiciness, and cook the meat through.

Storage Instructions

Your meat will arrive frozen, see pack for shelf life, each cut of meat is labelled with a use by date.

When your meat arrives simply pop it into your freezer.

When you have selected what meat you would like to eat for the day, thaw items by leaving them on the bottom shelf in your fridge on a plate covered overnight before cooking. Once thawed leave to stand for 20 minutes at room temperature before cooking. 

Remember once thawed use within 2 days.
